Natalie Pankova

Natalie Pankova is an experienced COO working at the intersection of healthcare and technology, and has led multi-disciplinary teams across several functions including R&D, drug manufacturing, regulatory, digital product development, finance and HR, building novel technologies from the ground up and taking them to market in both public and private organizations. This includes AI-enabled ophthalmic diagnostics, clinical decision support software, genomics platforms, health credentialling systems and patient apps. She holds a PhD from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Toronto, with a focus on ophthalmology and precision medicine, and she has previously worked as a scientist and executive in pharma and biotech, as well as conducted clinical and preclinical research at St Michael’s Hospital in Toronto. She is also a Digital Health Expert with the World Health Organization providing insights around the use of AI and blockchain technologies in healthcare, a Board Member and Advisor to innovative healthcare and technology startups, and provides industry perspectives to governing bodies at academic institutions such as King’s College London and Coventry University in the UK.
