Cube Labs and Filippo Surace awarded Excellence of the Year and CEO of the Year by Le Fonti Awards

In an award ceremony that was held on 23 June 2022 at Palazzo Mezzanotte, the headquarters of the Italian Stock Exchange in Milan, Cube Labs received for the third time the Le Fonti Award for Excellence of the Year in Innovation in as Venture Builder in Life Science, and Cube Labs’ CEO Filippo Surace was selected as the CEO of the Year in Innovation in Life Science. Surace, Chief Strategy Officer Renato Del Grosso and CFO Massimo Fiocchi together accepted The Excellence of the Year in Innovation Award on behalf of Cube Labs.

The Excellence of the Year in Innovation as Venture Builder in Life Science was awarded to Cube Labs for “being an excellent incubator of ideas within the medical field, for having a unique business model within the Italian landscape, and for its continuous support for the development of researchers.”

The CEO of the Year in Innovation in Life Science was awarded to Surace for “being at the frontier of excellence in operating a venture studio in the life sciences space, for his important medical background, his depth of experience in the sector and his innovative business vision.”

This was the 12th Annual Edition of Le Fonti Awards, which are the leading prizes in Italy across the economic, financial and legal sectors. Cube Labs has previously twice been awarded Le Fonti Awards, in 2018 and 2021, for Excellence in Innovation in Leadership.
